Important Information

Final Transcripts

All students who enroll at Capital Law must provide a final, official transcript from your undergraduate degree-granting college or university prior to the start of class.

Transcripts must be sent directly from your undergraduate institution to the LSAC.

If you had already graduated and sent a final official transcript to LSAC when you applied, you do not need to resend it.

If you were still enrolled in classes when you applied and sent your transcript to LSAC, you will need to send a final official copy once you graduate.

If you need any clarity about whether or not we need your final, official transcript from your undergraduate degree-granting college or university please reach out to

The orientation program is designed to help you transition into learning the law and becoming a member of our Law School community. The program will offer workshops on developing the skills to succeed in and out of the classroom, prepare you for your first weeks of class, and navigate student services and activities.

A detailed schedule of orientation activities as well as schedule instructions will be shared here, via email, and on Canvas closer to the events.

All students will virtually complete a writing diagnostic exercise between Sunday, July 30, and Sunday, August 6.

Choose a window to come to the Law School to pick up your ID, parking permit, and schedule, set up your cell phone/laptop/tablet WiFi access, and tour the Law Library.

Thursday, August 1 & Thursday, August 8, 2024

Registration for times to come in will be available in 2024.

Join your classmates, friends and family, and members of the Capital University Law School community for a community welcome featuring remarks from Capital University and Law School leadership.

Scholarship Terms and Conditions

Beginning with the Fall 2024, all entering scholarships are guaranteed. So long as a student maintains good financial standing and is not otherwise dismissed, that student will keep their scholarship for three years of full-time study, or four years of part-time study.

We are proud to provide secure scholarships that our students can rely upon throughout law school. We find that these scholarships provide a greater sense of financial security and help foster and promote an increased sense of community.
