Costs and Cost of Attendance (COA)

The Capital University Law School charges tuition per credit hour rather than per academic year. The cost per credit hour for law students is $1,600 for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The Financial Aid Office establishes annual student budgets to reflect a realistic cost of attendance (COA). These budgets include an estimate of both direct (billable) costs, and indirect costs (non-billable costs) associated with attending law school. The Financial Aid Office uses this budget to determine your eligibility for financial aid.
Per federal regulation, the combination of financial assistance received by the student from all sources cannot exceed the established student budget.
