Paralegal Program Admission Requirements

A baccalaureate degree (4 years/undergraduate) from an accredited college or university is required for admission to this program.

A variety of factors will be looked at for admission to the Paralegal Program, including undergraduate grade point average, undergraduate co-curricular activities, work experience and community involvement.

Admission Procedures

Applicants must:

  1. Complete an application, including a written statement of intent regarding the applicant’s interest in this program;
  2. Submit a non-refundable $25.00 application fee
  3. Provide two character references
  4. Submit an official transcript that will verify the baccalaureate or graduate degree.

Following submission of the application, an in-person conference with the applicant will be scheduled. In extraordinary circumstances a phone conference with the applicant may substitute for the in-person conference.  Applications are accepted until the start of the program (orientation date) or the class fills, whichever comes first.

Written notification of acceptance into the program will be made on an on-going basis as conferences are completed.
