Professor Rich joined Capital in 2007. He previously practiced at the Cincinnati law firm of Vorys Sater Seymour & Pease, where he litigated cases of government fraud under the civil False Claims Act, white-collar criminal cases, and civil rights actions. His areas of research include criminal law, civil and criminal white-collar litigation, police investigatory methods, and government fraud. His most recent article, Prosecutorial Indiscretion: Encouraging the Department of Justice to Rein in Out-of-Control Qui Tam Litigation under the Civil False Claims Act, appeared in 76 U. Cin. L. Rev. (2008).
