Michael S. Lehv

Before joining at Capital University Law School, Michael S. Lehv, M.D., J.D. was a Lt. Commander in the United States Navy, held a private practice in plastic surgery, served as an instructor of surgery, a lecturer in the Ohio State University Medical Humanities Program, design, programmed and implemented numerous computer systems in professional and residential settings, and practiced part-time in a private legal consulting practice. Since 1997, when Dr. Lehv joined the adjunct faculty, he has continued to serve his community in the fields of medicine, computer science, and law.

Dr. Lehv has published extensively. Most recently he published several chapters in publication by the American College of Legal Medicine (ACLM). These include "Professional Liability Insurance" in Medical Malpractice Survival Handbook (forthcoming 2007), "Liability of Plastic Surgeons" in Legal Medicine, 7th edition (2006), and "Medical Products Liability" in Legal Medicine, 6th and 7th Editions (2004, 2006). He has been the American Health Lawyers Association's Year-in-Review Reporter in Medical Malpractice since 2000.

Dr. Lehv teaches Medical Liability Law at Capital University Law School.
