Happy fall!
The last few months have been an exciting whirlwind of activity
and full of wonderful news for the alumni association. Of course,
most importantly, a huge congratulations to our alumni who took
the July Ohio state bar exam. Their hard work and dedication has
paid off and helped increase the value of a Capital University Law
School degree. Way to go, alumni!
We also had an amazing turnout – more than 70 alumni –
at the alumni association-sponsored CLE on Ohio’s New Rules
of Professional Conduct. We’ll be taking this “show
on the road” to Cleveland on March 9, and due to popular demand,
will repeat this CLE again in Columbus during Alumni Weekend, April
26-28, 2007.
Speaking of Alumni Weekend, your Alumni Association Board is busy
preparing for the many activities. Although a few items are still
being tweaked, please mark your calendars for:

Philanthropy Celebration
Throughout the next month, we also will be putting the final touches
on the Alumni Association survey which will be mailed the first
of the year and will help the association with its many initiatives.
Would you like to mentor a current student? Are you interested in
speaking to a law class on your area of expertise? How about letting
us know what types of social or educational activities you would
attend? These are all questions we hope you will answer when you
receive the survey in early January.
On behalf of your Alumni Relations Office, we wish you a happy
and safe holiday season full of family and friends. We look forward
