The African-American Law Alumni Association Board

David D. White CLE - Dec. 10

The Capital University Law School African-American Law Alumni Association will hold its 7th annual David D. White CLE on Saturday, December 10, 2005, from 8:00 am – 4:45 pm at the School Employees Retirement System, 300 East Broad Street in downtown Columbus.

The CLE has been approved for 6.5 total hours, including 1 hour of ethics, 1 hour of professionalism and 0.5 hour of substance abuse instruction.

Eschleman, L’87, Receives Moot Court Alumnus of the Year Award

Lisa Eschleman, L’87, received the second Moot Court Alumnus of the Year Award for her dedication and contributions to the moot court program at Capital University Law School.

Weatherspoon Receives National Award for Dispute Resolution Efforts

Professor Floyd D. Weatherspoon was honored with the 2005 “Keys to Access” award presented by CADRE, the Consortium For Appropriate Dispute Resolution in Special Education in Eugene, Oregon.

Alumnus Paul McNulty Nominated to No. 2 Post in U.S. Department of Justice

President Bush has nominated Paul J. McNulty, a 1983 graduate of Capital University Law School, to become deputy attorney general, the number two position in the U.S. Department of Justice.
