Alumni Weekend, April 28-29

Join us for the 2006 Law School Alumni Weekend on April 28-29, 2006. An Alumni Awards Lunch will be held April 28 for which nominations are now being accepted. A Bar Success Reception will be held that evening to celebrate the successful bar passage of recently graduated Law School alumni. Events on April 29 include a golf outing, a ceremony re-dedicating the Judges Wall, a Donor Recognition Wall dedication, and more.

Law School Faculty in the National News

Several Capital law faculty members have appeared in national media outlets, including CNN, the Christian Broadcast Network, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, San Jose Mercury News, Richmond Times Dispatch, and the Nashville Tennessean.

Law Student Publishes in Wisconsin Law Journal

Sarah L. Harrell, a fourth-year evening law student, has had an article accepted for publication by the WISCONSIN INTERNATIONAL LAW JOURNAL.

Moot Court Teams Succeed at National Competitions

Law School Moot Court teams are performing well at regional and national competitions. Capital's Tax Moot Court Team placed third in national competition and the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Team won Best Respondent Brief in the Regional Competition.
