Stopping tobacco dependence before it starts.

The vast majority of adults who smoke began smoking before the age of 18. Reducing tobacco use requires a sustained focus on reducing teenage smoking. Public policy that prohibits smoking on school grounds and prevents youth access to tobacco can help reduce teenage tobacco use.
