From the Executive Director

Thanks to everyone who helped make our Tobacco-Free Schools workshop a success!  Of course, the real success will be when all of Ohio's schools are 100% tobacco-free, but I am hopeful that last week's workshop helped move us towards that goal. Several people told me that they felt energized by the workshop and were looking forward to working for tobacco-free schools in their communities.

As Mark Ezzell said, if they can successfully advocate for tobacco-free schools in North Carolina, we can do the same here. And the data the North Carolina Tobacco-Free Schools Program has been collecting show that tobacco-free school policies, when well implemented, really do make a difference in reducing teen tobacco use.
