Capital University Law School Graduates 2009 Paralegal Class

On August 26, 2009, the CULS Paralegal Program graduated 46 students into a start of a new career as a paralegal. The 46 graduates were a mixture of 23 members of the 1 year Evening Program and 23 members of the 14-week Summer Immersion Program. Of the 46 members of the graduating class, 8 graduates received the mark of Honors and 7 graduates received the mark of Highest Honors.

The graduation ceremony was held at the Ohio State Bar Association and included guest speakers Judy McInturff, Chairperson of Advisory Board, Kalpana Yalamanchili, Director of Bar Services, Ohio State Bar Association, Jack A. Guttenberg, Dean of Capital University Law School, and Shirley Mays, Associate Dean of Capital University Law School.

Part of an American Bar Association-accredited law school, the Capital University Law School Paralegal program is one of the oldest in the country. It features year-long programs based in Columbus and Dayton, Ohio, as well as summer-immersion programs available in Columbus.
