
Law School Graduates Paralegal ClassesSeptember 3, 2004 September 1 and 2, 2004, Capital University Law School graduated three groups of Paralegal certificate students: the August 2004 paralegal class, the summer immersion 2004 class, and the Dayton-area August 2004 paralegal class. September 1, 2004, students completing the year-long paralegal program and students completing the summer immersion program were awarded their certificates at the Capital University main campus in Bexley, Ohio. Kimberly C. Shumate, President of the Columbus Bar Association, was the guest speaker. She joined Capital University Law School Dean Jack Guttenberg and Donna Schoebel, Director of the Paralegal Programs, in honoring the 56 graduates. The following evening, September 2, 17 students graduating from the year-long Paralegal program based in Dayton, Ohio, received their certificates. Dean Guttenberg and Director Schoebel presented the certificates at the Miami Valley Country Club. Part of an American Bar Association-accredited law school, the Capital University Law School Paralegal program is one of the oldest in the country. It features year-long programs based in Columbus and Dayton, Ohio, as well as summer-immersion programs available in Columbus.
