2008 Paralegal Refresher Courses
April 11, 19, 26 & May 3, 10, 17

Capital University Law School has partnered with directors of several of Ohio Paralegal Studies Programs to create the Ohio Paralegal Educators Consortium (OPEC). OPEC has prepared a Refresher Course that will be offered throughout the State in the months leading up to the May 31, 2008 exam being offered at the Ohio State Bar Association.

Summer Adoption Law Institute (CLE available)
Aug. 4-8

Capital University Law School, the only American law school to regularly offer an entire course dedicated to adoption law, is pleased to offer students from accredited law schools across the country the opportunity to attend the Summer Adoption Law Institute – a two-credit, intensive week-long course that will explore adoption and related child protection issues from both academic and practitioner perspectives. With approval of their home institutions, students from accredited law schools across the country may enroll as visiting or transient students. Financial Aid may be available through your home law school.

If you graduated in a year ending with a three or an eight, please mark your calendars for your class reunion on Friday, Oct. 31, 2008. The tentative schedule is highlighted below, as final details are still being planned. Activities will include an afternoon CLE sponsored by the Alumni Association, an all alumni/bar success reception for the July 2008 Ohio Bar Exam and a reunion dinner. All activities are scheduled to be held at the Law School. We hope to see you then!
