Capital University Law School To Hold Adoption, Child Welfare Law Conference

Capital University Law School will hold its fifth annual Wells Conference on Adoption Law from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, 400 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio.

Sponsored by the Capital University Law Review and the National Center for Adoption Law and Policy (NCALP), this year’s conference is titled “Contemporary Approaches for Overcoming Challenges to Permanency.”

In light of Capital University Law School’s strong focus and dedication to adoption law, the Capital University Law Review, in partnership with NCALP, initiated the Wells Conference on Adoption Law in 2005. The primary goal of the annual conference is to address relevant and timely adoption and family-law related topics by drawing together highly renowned scholars and practitioners in the area of adoption and family issues to engage scholars and practitioners in illuminating discussions.
