
Nation's First Adoption Law Moot Court Competition to be held in March - Judges NeededJanuary 12, 2006 The first national moot court competition in the area of Child Welfare and Adoption Law is scheduled for March 10-11, 2006, in Columbus, Ohio. The 18 teams participating in the competition will take part in preliminary rounds to be held in the hearing rooms at the Ohio Statehouse. The final round will be at the Ohio Supreme Court. Judges are needed to assess briefs and / or oral arguments. Any lawyer or judge may act as a judge for this competition, but those with knowledge of child welfare and adoption law and sitting judges are encouraged to apply. • Find
