Law School Hosts New Student Welcome Reception and Transition DayMay 21, 2004 Newly admitted students are invited to attend events to welcome them to the Capital University Law School community. The program kicks-off with a New Student Welcoming Reception, Friday, June 11, at 5:30 pm. Law students can use this opportunity to meet with faculty, student organization leaders and classmates. The reception will be a casual gathering including fun, food and fine spirits. On Saturday morning, new students can participate in the New Student Transition Day. This event is a great opportunity to meet Capital University Law School faculty, staff and administrators who are here to help new students make the transition into law school. In addition, Admission and Financial Aid staff will be available from 8:00 to 9:00 am and from 12:00 to 2:30 pm to accept seat deposits and answer individual financial aid questions and concerns. [ New Student Transition Day Agenda ] "This is a good time for students to get things in order for their legal education including arranging housing, becoming familiar with Columbus and discovering what they can do between now and August to ensure a smooth transition," said Linda Mihely, Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid. Both events will be held at Capital University Law School, 303 E. Broad Street, and will convene in the back lobby. Please R.S.V.P by calling 614-236-6310, or register online at by clicking
