
Capital University Law School Welcomes Russian DelegationMay 11, 2004
Capital University Law School welcomed a group of Russian attorneys Monday, May 10, 2004, as part of the Productivity Enhancement Program, a program designed to bring Russian entrepreneurs to the US. The event was sponsored by the Law School, the Columbus Bar Association and the Dublin A.M. Rotary. Interim Dean Athornia Steele gave a welcome speech and guided the group on a tour of the Law School’s facilities and discussed its history and academic programs. After the tour, the visitors attended lectures about various aspects of the American legal system and legal education. Guest speakers included: Professor Michael Distelhorst, Former Dean and President Emeritus Josiah Blackmore, Columbus Attorney Geoff Stern of Kegler, Brown, Hill and Ritter, Professor Dan Kobil, Luba Seliavski and Professor Jeffrey Ferriell.
