New Joint Degree Offered: J.D./Master of Theological Studies

Capital University Law School and Trinity Lutheran Seminary have created a Joint Degree Program enabling students to complete a Juris Doctor and Master of Theological Studies degree with a substantial reduction in total credit hours.

The program is designed to prepare students for successful careers dealing with complex ethical questions, working in the public policy arena, or working with religiously-based organizations.

A full-time student can complete the joint J.D./MTS degree in four years and three summers. A part-time student can complete both degrees within five and a half years. Pursuing these degrees separately would take approximately five years or more.
