Capital University Law School Hosts "Experience Capital Day" for Admitted Students

 June 4, 2002

Students who have been admitted to Capital University Law School are invited to the New Student Welcoming Reception on Friday, June 14 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., and to Experience Capital Day on Saturday, June 15 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Both events will be held at Capital University Law School, 303 E. Broad Street.

The New Student Welcoming Reception is a casual gathering of faculty, student organization leaders, and future classmates. Experience Capital Day is a program designed to provide admitted students with more information about Capital Law School's programs and services available. Admitted students will have an opportunity to listen to current students share their perspectives on law school, get an introspective look at the practice of law, and learn about opportunities for student involvement.

"Experience Capital Day is an excellent opportunity for new students to get to know each other before classes begin and to get a head start on their apartment searches," says Linda Mihely, Assistant Dean of Admission & Financial Aid.

Tours of the Law School and lunch with current students, faculty and staff will be provided. Financial aid staff will be available to answer individual questions and concerns.

To R.S.V.P. for one or both of these events, please call (614) 236-6310, or register online at www.law.capital.edu/admissions/openhouse.asp.
