Law Professor Named to the Ohio Tax Hall of Fame

Addison Dewey, Capital University Law School Professor Emeritus,
was named to the Ohio Tax Hall of Fame. Only the second year for the award,
the honor was bestowed on him on January 24th at the Ohio Tax Conference
in Columbus, Ohio.
Professor Dewey is a scholar in the areas of tax, estate planning, professional
malpractice, decedents' estates and sports and entertainment law. In 1991,
he assumed the status of Professor Emeritus. Professor Dewey has 22 years
of experience in private practice and government, where he served as chief
attorney and deputy tax commissioner for the Ohio Department of Taxation.
Professor Dewey is past president of the League of Ohio Law Schools, is
a member of the American, Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations, and serves
with the American Bar Association's taxation section. He holds a Bachelor
of Arts from Capital University and a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State
University.
