Program on Dispute Resolution at Capital University Law School

Dispute Resolution Curriculum

Professor Roberta Mitchell is the director of the academic program on dispute resolution at the Law School. This curriculum is designed for traditional JD students as well as certificate students. The program focuses on:

  • Academic courses

  • Concentration in Dispute Resolution for current law students

  • A Dispute Resolution concentration in the LL.M. program

Mediation & Dispute Resolution Certificate Program

This program offers students the opportunity to earn a Mediation or Dispute Resolution certificate. It was designed by the Law School faculty.

Center for Dispute Resolution

The Center serves as a resource for and to be engaged in teaching, training, experimentation, application, development, and research with regard to the processes that are available to resolve disputes, with particular emphasis on negotiation and mediation.

Minority Conference on Dispute Resolution

The National Conference of Minority Professionals in Alternative Dispute Resolution is an initiative launched by the Law School to increase the presence of minority professionals at all levels and in all areas of alternative dispute resolution.
