In celebration of our 10th Anniversary, the Labor and Employment
Law Association (LELA) is pleased to offer this Continuing Legal Education
(CLE) Program and recognize the charter members, past officers and past
and current members. Proceeds from this event will help fund the Labor
and Employment Law Scholarship.
About the Labor and Employment Law Association (LELA)
The purpose of the Labor and Employment Law Association
(LELA) is to keep Capital University Law School student members advised
of new developments in labor and employment law. To achieve its mission,
the Labor and Employment Law Association hosts panel discussions with
prominent labor and employment law attorneys from law firms, public agencies
and corporations.
The 2004-2005 school year marks the 10-Year Anniversary of the Labor
and Employment Law Association. Founded by fifteen Capital University
Law School students in 1994, the organization has maintained the legacy
envisioned by the charter members. The Labor and Employment Law Association
continues to play a prominent role in ensuring that Capital students are
aware of current labor and employment law issues, externships, and the
concentration certificate offered by Capital. Through programming, the
Labor and Employment Law Association also provides powerful networking
opportunities within this practice area.
