
Life Care Planner Program Admission Requirements for Registered Nurses1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution. 2. Valid R.N. license. 3. 5000 hours of clinical experience, preferably in a relevant area. Admission Requirements for non-R.N. Rehabilitation or Other Related Professionals1. Bachelor’s degree in their field from an accredited four-year institution. 2. Rehabilitation Certification such as CRC, CDMS, COHN, CRPN, ABVE, LPT, OTL, LPC., etc.; or appropriate licensure or certification in the related field (e.g., social work, physical therapy, etc.). 3. A minimum of 3-5 years rehabilitation work experience. Please note that preference is given to candidates with a 2.7 or higher grade point average. Admission Procedures Applicants must complete an application, and submit the following additional information: (1) original transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions, regardless of whether a degree was completed; (2) resume; (3) 3 professional references; (4) personal statement; and (5) $25 application fee. Once all application materials are received, the applicant will be contacted for a telephonic interview. All completed applications will be reviewed by the admissions committee. Our flexible rolling curriculum has start dates in May and November. Consideration will be given to students who have successfully completed LCP modules at other institutions. |
