Certificate in Estate Planning

The certificate is designed for lawyers and accountants who want to advance their careers and gain specialized taxation knowledge. Professionals will acquire high-level training without the time and cost commitment of a full degree program. If the student later decides to pursue an advanced degree, the course credits may be applied to an LL.M. or M.T. degree.

The certificate is earned after the completion of the following courses:

  • Estate and Gift Tax
  • Income Taxation of Trusts and Estates
  • Drafting for Estate Planning

Admission Process

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for each semester.  Students interested in applying can download an application for the Certificate in Estate Planning.
