Risa Dinitz Lazaroff

Professor Lazaroff joined the legal research and writing faculty at Capital University Law School in 1994. In August 2003, she became the director of the Supplemental Bar Program, a comprehensive bar information and preparation program, and she currently teaches the Super Start bar exam course. Prior to joining the faculty, she was a senior attorney at Chorpenning, Good & Mancuso, Co. LPA, in Columbus, Ohio, where she practiced insurance defense litigation for life, health, and disability claims. Professor Lazaroff was also a staff attorney for the Ohio Legislative Service Commission, where she drafted proposed legislation initiated by members of the Ohio Senate Judiciary Committee. Professor Lazaroff is admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio, in the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, and in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
