Professor Sullivan is Capital's senior faculty member. The annual Sullivan Lecture Series is named in his honor for his contributions to the teaching of the law. Professor Sullivan is a former dean of the Law School and was a frequent lecturer in the areas of criminal law and torts. In 1988, Professor Sullivan assumed the status of Professor Emeritus. In the spring of 1990, he was named Adjunct Professor of the Year. In 1991, Professor Sullivan received an award from the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity as one of their outstanding law professors. Professor Sullivan taught Criminal Law, Torts, Property, Corporations and Consumer Law.
