Edward R. Claggett
Adjunct Professor
B.S., cum laude, Ohio State University, 1971;
J.D., cum laude, Ohio State University Law School, 1974;
LL.M, Boston University Law School, 1981. 

Professor Claggett currently works as vice president of taxes and risk management for the Scotts Company where he is responsible for worldwide tax and risk management functions, transfer pricing, tax audits, acquisition structuring including tax efficient financing, and tax planning. Claggett also is responsible for ensuring tax and risk management functions comply with Sarbanes-Oxley and for preparing and implementing intercompany agreements for purchasing of products, licensing intellectual property; and acquiring management support services.

Previously Claggett worked for ITT and ITT Sheraton Corporation, the Cabot Corporation, and Arthur Andersen & Co.

Since August 2001, Clagget has taught international tax courses in LLM program. Prior to that he taught at Bentley College Graduate School and Suffolk University Law School.
