Carole C. Berry

Professor Berry joined the Capital
law faculty in 1974. She has served director of Capital Law School's Graduate
Tax and Business Programs and as director of Capital's comprehensive Legal
Research and Writing Program. Professor Berry has authored publications
in the areas of worker's compensation; law language and linguistics; and
administrative law/tax. Her book, Effective Appellate Advocacy: Brief
Writing and Oral Argument with accompanying Teacher's Manual, was
recently published in second edition by the West Group. Professor Berry
teaches Tax Research, Tax Procedure, Legal Research and Writing, and Oral
Advocacy. She has been active in professional societies including the
Law School Admissions Council, and the Columbus, Ohio, and American Bar
Associations. Professor Berry is a member of the Michigan and Ohio bars.
