Bridget Hayward Kahle

Bridget KahleProfessor Kahle is a member of the Legal Research and Writing faculty at the Law School, teaching in the third year legal writing program. Previously, she was Assistant Chief Legal Counsel at the Ohio Department of Development where she interpreted legislation, drafted loan and grant agreements and handled employment law matters for the agency.

Prior to her position with the state of Ohio, Professor Kahle worked in the private sector as a staff attorney in the education law department with Bricker & Eckler LLP and as an associate with Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP. Her Capitol Hill experience includes staff assistant to the Office of the Majority Leader, Representative Richard A. Gephardt and principal scheduler for U.S. Senator Harris Wofford.

While a law student at The Ohio State University, Professor Kahle won multiple awards including the Best Brief by First Year Student in Law, the Frank & Gertrude Strong Moot Court Award; and Best Oralist, Best Brief Finalist for the Second Year Appellate Advocacy Competition. Her undergraduate career includes studying at the American University in Cairo, Egypt.
