Thomas
J. Addesa is an attorney with the law firm of Artz, Dewhirst &
Wheeler, LLP. He practices in the areas of criminal defense, domestic
relations, and civil litigation and is an OSBA Board Certified
Family Relations Law Specialist. Mr. Addesa is also an Adjunct
Professor at Capital University Law School teaching the Mediation
Clinic course. He has been an Affiliate with the Center for Dispute
Resolution since it's inception. In addition, Mr. Addesa has served
as a trainer for the Governor's (Richard Celeste) Task Force On
Dispute Resolution; guest trainer for the Ohio State University’s
Law School mediation course; volunteer trainer for the Ohio Supreme
Court's efforts to establish mediation programs in Municipal Courts;
consultant and actor for mediation and negotiation training videos
created by the Center for Dispute Resolution; and trainer for
numerous specialized mediation training seminars developed for
specific groups such as the Ohio Workplace Mediation Program,
the Better Business Bureau, and the Columbus Community Relations
Commission.
