Centers & Institutes

The centers and institutes at Capital University Law School enrich our academic environment and provide students the opportunity to develop specialized knowledge and skill in a particular area of the law.

  • The Center for Dispute Resolution is a nationally recognized resource for the teaching, development and implementation of various dispute resolution methods which provide alternatives to litigation. It has become renowned for its training programs for law students as well as the community.
  • The National Center for Adoption Law & Policy at Capital University Law School seeks to ease and facilitate the adoption process through education, research, and advocacy efforts. It works to effect systemic change in the adoption process that will, over time, impact thousands of children across this country.
  • The Institute for International Legal Education has given the school global visibility as a forum for discussions about law in emerging democracies; its ground-breaking programs attract students, scholars, political figures, law enforcement officials and high court justices from all over the world.
