Approximately 100 second-and third-year students and alumni gathered in the Huntington Commons on October 29 to hear Kimm Alyane Walton, author of Guerrilla Tactics for Getting the Legal Job of Your Dreams speak. She addressed issues regarding employment searches, resume writing, interviewing and other strategies for finding a great job.

Walton stressed the importance of taking initiative and honest enthusiasm when looking for a job. She encouraged the group to take initiative with prospective employers or people involved in the field of law and not to fear rejection. The key to a successful job interview is enthusiasm and to speak with gusto.

Walton offered excellent advice for students and alums and presented the advice in a compelling fashion.
