John C. Vorys has been named to the Interdisciplinary Financial Crisis team by the law firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease.

C. Keith Plummer has been elected to serve a three-year term as District 15 representative on the Board of Governors of the Ohio State Bar Association.

1982

Catherine Fitzpatrick has been confirmed by the New Jersey Senate as a Superior Court Judge.

Timothy B. Mitchell has joined the Porter Wright Law Firm in their Corporate Department.

1983

Thomas L. Rosenberg has been named to the "Leading U.S. Attorneys" list in Chambers USA, America's Leading Business Directory. Chambers and Partners selects attorneys based on feedback received from clients and attorneys during an independent research interview process. Qualities on which rankings are assessed include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial awareness/astuteness, diligence, commitment, and other qualities most valued by the client.

Judge Mary Schostok has been elected and installed as second vice president of the Illinois Judges Association (IJA). The IJA is a 1,100-member organization of current and retired Illinois judges that provides educational opportunities and support to its members, and information about the judiciary to the public.

Richard A. Hernandez, with Dinsmore & Shohl's Columbus Office, was selected by his peers for inclusion in the 2010 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, in the area of Worker's Compensation Law.

Kristy J. Swope is the Columbus Bar Association Judicial Campaign Advertising Committee Chair for 2009-2010.

1987

Lisa Eschleman has been elected to the Law and Leadership Institute Board of Directors. The Institute was formed last year by the Supreme Court of Ohio and the Ohio State Bar Association as a statewide program to improve diversity in the legal profession. Lisa also was named as the Columbus Bar Association Pro Bono Committee Chair for 2009-2010.

Pamela S. Krivda has been re-appointed to chair the Labor and Employment Committee for the Ohio State Bar Association for 2009-2010.

James A. Zitesman is the Columbus Bar Association Solo/Small Firm Practitioners Committee Chair for 2009-2010.

1994

Mark Lewis was named president of the Central Ohio Association for Justice (formerly known as Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association). COAJ is dedicated to promoting justice for individuals in all local, state, and federal courts; supporting members; assisting the legal community; improving the judicial system; and serving the citizens of Central Ohio.

Adam C. Miller was appointed by Lt. General Black, U.S. Army Judge Advocate General as the new Command Judge Advocate, 209th Regional Support Group, U.S. Army Reserve.

1995

Joseph M. Reidy was selected by his peers for inclusion in the The Best Lawyers in America 2010 in the specialty of Environmental Law.

1996

Jeff Porter was elected to the board of trustees for LeaderSpark Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides leadership training with partners serving public, independent and parochials schools; youth and women's programs; community based organizations and corporate initiatives.

Joseph Damelio was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Promoting Standards of Excellence in Mandated Representation by the State Bar Center in Albany, New Yark. The award is presented biennially to recognize the efforts of attorneys working to ensure the quality of legal representation for indigent persons who are entitled to counsel in criminal or Family Court proceedings.

1997

Christal Caudill is the Columbus Bar Association Bankruptcy Committee Chair for 2009-2010.

Lisa M. Burleson has been named the Ohio State Bar Association's Education Law Committee Chair for 2009-1020.

Sarah D. Morrison has been named to the Best Lawyers 2010 in the practice area of Commercial Litigation.

1998

Kevin R. Bacon has joined the Appel & Hellstedt law firm as Of Counsel.

2000

Summer J. Plantz has earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. Plantz is one of few attorneys in the state of Ohio to earn this accreditation.
