Applying as a Transfer Student, Visiting Student or Auditor

Admission as a Transfer Student

Students in good standing who attend law schools accredited by the American Bar Association may apply to transfer to Capital University Law School. The faculty requires students to complete one year of study prior to transferring unless there are compelling reasons for transfer prior to completion of a full year.

Capital will accept credit for most courses in which students have received at least a "C" or comparable grade. Transfer students must complete no fewer than 43 semester hours at Capital and must maintain a cumulative grade average of "C" (2.0) for work undertaken at Capital.
