
Applying as an International StudentCapital University Law School is committed to fulfilling its mission of providing a diverse learning environment for students. Certain steps are required for students who have graduated from foreign institutions and wish to be considered for admission. International students should follow the required steps below. Please contact the Admission Office if you have additional questions. ✓ Complete an application for admission including: a personal statement, $35 application fee and two letters of recommendation. ✓ Take the Law School Admission Test. The LSAT is required for international students. ✓ All foreign (non-English) transcripts need to be evaluated and translated by the World Education Services. Interested students can contact the W.E.S. at www.wes.org to learn more about the services they offer. The Law School Data Assembly Service does not accept foreign transcripts, therefore these transcripts (after being evaluated) should be sent directly to the Admission Office. Plain photocopies of transcripts are not acceptable. ✓ The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for admission to Capital University Law School. ✓ Proof of Financial Support must be provided by all foreign students, including Canadian applicants, before enrolling at Capital University. Students must submit proof of sufficient funding to cover the cost of attendance for at least one academic year's expenses ($35,375). This proof is required before an appropriate visa can be issued to a student. |
