Joint Degrees

Students who are interested in integrating their law degrees with another graduate course of study may be attracted to one of Capital University Law School's combined degree programs. Capital currently offers seven joint degree programs in which students may complete both degrees, simultaneously, in order to prepare for a wider range of career choices upon graduation.

There are many practical advantages of the combined degree programs. They allow students to double-count a portion of their electives and reduce the total number of credit hours, cost of education, and length of time required to complete the degrees separately. The combined degrees give students the expertise to pursue careers in a variety of employment settings -- the effective analytical tools of a law degree, a solid understanding in a companion discipline outside the law, and the practical skills necessary to apply them.

Students must apply and gain admission to both programs individually.
