J.D./LL.M. in Business

To resolve complex business issues that arise in today's fast-paced, global marketplace, students may want a broad range of business and legal acumen to effectively serve their future clients and employers. Capital's JD and Master of Laws in Business dual degree program will equip students with the skills and knowledge that they will need to address multifaceted business issues and to resolve complicated business disputes.

Dual degree candidates may take up to twelve hours of elective credits in advanced business courses while pursuing the JD degree. Following completion of the JD degree, the student would enroll in the LL.M. program and complete the remaining twelve credit hours required for the LL.M. degree in one semester of full-time study. Full-time students can typically complete this joint degree in just 3 1/2 years, rather than the four years typically required to pursue both degrees separately.
