Centennial Celebration

On October 16, 2003, Capital University Law School celebrated its 100th anniversary. The Law School celebrated its past, present and future with students, alumni and friends.

The Law School commissioned Peter D. Franklin to write the institution’s distinguished history. Franklin was a journalist for the Columbus Dispatch, New York Herald Tribune and San Antonio Light. He also was a public relations executive in New York and now heads Franklin & Son, a corporate communications consulting firm in Columbus, Ohio. Franklin has written a number of corporate histories, including On Your Side: The Story of the Nationwide Insurance Enterprise. He is also co-author of I’ve Seen the Elephant: An Autobiography of William B. Saxbe. Franklin's book, A Century of Committment: Capital University Law School 1903-2003, is now available for purchase. Call the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at (614) 236-6601 to purchase a copy.
